Brummana High School is looking for a professional and committed EFL (English as a Foreign Language) and SFL (Support for Learning) Teacher for a full-time position in the Upper School (grade 7-12) and/or Upper Elementary (grade 4-6) for the upcoming academic year 2023-2024.

Teaching English as a foreign language involves being able to convey the English language in an articulate and interesting manner for students whose English language is not their first language or for those who have low academic achievements in the English language. Desired educators should encourage students to improve their English skills through listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities. This position also involves providing support to learners with specific learning difficulties within the support department.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in English Literature or Special Education or Psychology a teaching diploma, experience of school teaching and Support for Learning (working with students with mild learning difficulties), a commitment to a child-centred education, a willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular programme, good computer skills and excellent English language skills.
