Arabic Poetry Event with Dr Robert Bitar

On the afternoon of Thursday, 3 June, Principal David Gray attended a splendid poetry event sponsored by the Arabic Department at Brummana High School and attended by lots of students who had studied the work of Dr. Robert Bitar, a well known author in Arabic. He recited some of his poetry and students who had studied his book asked a number of well thought out questions. The Principal is very grateful to David Baaklini, Myrna Shaiban and Hanna Daher for the preparatory work which went into this event which went very well indeed. He thought it was also good to see a range of teaching staff attending this event online.
