Principal’s Meeting with Upper School Parents

On the afternoon of Wednesday, 28 September, Principal David Gray led and spoke at a meeting for Upper School parents on PHSE and specifically vaping, smoking and drug taking. He did not present this from the point of view of do’s and don’ts but rather from a point of view of providing students with sufficient information and encouragement to lead a healthy lifestyle and to make wise decisions if and when they were offered the opportunity to engage in practices which would damage their health, both mental and physical. The meeting was attended by around 70 parents from the Upper school and was well received, but the Principal wishes that larger numbers had come and perhaps when he conducts a session like this again, he shall arrange it for the evening rather than the late afternoon, when more people will be available to attend.
