Planning the Launching of BHS as a Botanical Garden

Principal David Gray had a meeting with Houssam Shaiban, the Founder of the Gardening Club now run  by Ferial Naimeh; they discussed the launching of the school campus as a botanical garden. The school is already a member of the International Botanical Gardens Association. It is planned that this would take place on a Saturday in April, 2023, probably with the help of the children who take part in the Gardening club and which will involve the planting of saplings, and a tour of the campus for parents and visitors.  The Principal has since written to staff inviting any with a scientific background who might be interested to join them in preparing to launch the garden which aims to focus on the school having indigenous species of plants and trees to build on the wild life and plant life which are already present on the campus.
