Fundraising Update – UK, US & Lebanon

The BHS/QuIET Fundraising Working Group met again on Tuesday evening to discuss progress with fundraising. Five of our QuIET Trustees, in the UK and US, joined Principal David Gray and Marketing Manager Richard Bampfylde for the session. The fundraising update included: notes from Mr Gray on the current situation at school and in Lebanon; a drafted 18-month appeal campaign to run from June 2021 to December 2022 proposed by the Marketing Manager; an update on progress in the US from Trustee Tony Manasseh; progress on the application for specific grant funding in the UK from Trustee John Crosfield; developments for a presentation to European and Middle Eastern Quakers to be made in May; and other topics from the full breadth of attendees. Significant progress continues to be made in terms of fundraising globally for BHS families to provide bursary support during these desperate times in Lebanon currently.
