Friday, November 27th marked the school’s Founder’s Day and although we were unable to celebrate altogether on campus due to lockdown it was still nonetheless possible to reminisce about the long, long history of the school dating back to 1873. Our Founder, Theophilus Waldmeier, a Swiss Quaker missionary started the school nearly 150 years ago and the Quaker principles the school was founded upon remain very much a part of the core values of the school: respect, peace, simplicity and tolerance.
