Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra Performance of Peter and the Wolf

| Students in the Upper Elementary (Grades 4-6) were treated to a remarkable performance by the woodwind section of the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra on Friday, 29 November. Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf is a classic and we were delighted to welcome the LPO and hear their performance in Khoury Hall. The show started with each performer introducing themselves and their instruments, followed by a truly wonderful and memorable performance of Prokofiev’s classic. No doubt many of our UE students were inspired by the event and we look forward to them and the whole school taking up some of the opportunities in the school’s expanding Arts Department. |  |
