Library Committee Meeting

Principal Gray chaired the monthly Library Committee Meeting at which everyone joined together to thank Georges Darwiche and Ziad Abi Lamah for their work in completing the refurbishment of the Upper School Library which was completed last week with curtaining and the provision of a Librarian’s desk which looks splendid in the space provided. The sound proof partition will be used regularly with effect from the new academic year and will enable classes to take place in the Library while other students can be working in the other half of the library, reading or researching, at the same time. We are indebted to a legacy by a Quaker in the UK for this provision. Work is now starting on refurbishing the Upper Primary Library and the Infants’ Section Library and thereafter the Lower Primary Library. All should be complete by September.
