Quaker Values

In line with the school’s motto ‘I Serve’, the BHS community is proud to embody the Quaker Values of individuality, service, equality, respect, peaceful resolution and environmental stewardship. Ask any old scholar of the school and one of the first points they say tell you about BHS, their experience and impact is how the motto I Serve very much remains with them to the present day. Another important Quaker Value at the school is tolerance. BHS is a non-profit, independent school, owned by the Quaker charitable trust QuIET in the UK.
