General Knowledge Sessions at the Infant Section: Art

For many children, this online experience year at school has been challenging and they greeted each day with curiosity, innocence, and delight.  

Kindergartners are devoted, young learners brimming with observations about every concept, experiment, and lesson we present.

In terms of cognitive and creative development along with general knowledge, kindergartners like to learn. They ask many questions and are generally very interested in learning something new and they enjoy interactive learning emphasising creativity that is one of the superpowers that can help those children become the best version of them and make the world a better place. The great thing is that everyone has the power to be creative in his or her own way. 

During our online sessions, we have dedicated a part of our session to nurture and enhance their brain development and creativity by learning information on a variety of topics like science, math, art, English, and social sciences. Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible.

In one of the sessions, we chose “Art” and we introduced “Giuseppe Arcimboldo” who is an Italian painter best known for creating imaginative portrait heads made entirely of objects such as fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish and books. The children listened attentively and they crafted their own portraits in a creative and artistic way.
