In terms of Academics in the Upper School, various key initiatives and accomplishments are undertaken each year to ensure our students properly develop and excel. To enhance communication and collaboration among teachers, class-level meetings are conducted for each grade, fostering a unified approach to academic goals. Academic concerns are systematically addressed through general email communication with parents, followed by individualized follow-ups via email or in-person meetings to provide personalized student support. A significant increase in one-on-one meetings with parents allow for tailored guidance on addressing academic challenges and implementing best practices for student improvement. |

To provide additional academic support, teachers voluntarily offer extra lessons in key subjects. A structured substitute schedule is also implemented to minimize disruptions in learning when teachers are absent, ensuring continuity in instruction. Furthermore, a peer-to-peer tutoring program is in place, encouraging high-achieving students to assist their peers and fostering a culture of academic collaboration.

To promote student accountability, academic warnings and Saturday detentions are enforced for missed assignments or consistent underperformance. Makeup tests are provided for students with valid excuses. Additionally, a centralized Teams file is created for Heads of Departments to track and report students scoring below 70% on regular tests, facilitating comprehensive academic monitoring.
Overall, many initiatives are implemented with the overarching objectives of enhancing academic performance, fostering a supportive and structured learning environment, and strengthening communication with parents to ensure student success.
