Lower School Community service Programme
At Brummana High School, Lower School grade one to grade six students actively participate in community service activities throughout the year to develop empathy and a sense of social responsibility. Guided by their teachers, students engage in meaningful acts of kindness such as collecting food, clothing, and donations for families in need, especially during Christmas. They also visit local institutions like orphanages and elderly homes, where they spend time with residents, offer support, and deliver handmade gifts or essential items. These experiences help students understand the value of helping others and being part of a caring community.
