We would like to update the community that we continue to monitor international medical standards for a safe return to school for September. Although we are expecting to have all our students back on campus, the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) currently state that significant safety measures will need to be in place for all students and staff to follow. We await the next round of CDC advice, along with other mainly US-based health institutions e.g. John Hopkins and which we expect in the coming weeks. A video will then be produced to highlight to the community what will be expected of all members of the community when coming on to campus. We also continue to follow the Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) in the UK for their guidance, especially as we are a member of the organisation. The school’s Vice Principal Pastoral Sage Ball has met and continues to meet regularly with the Heads of Section and other senior members of BHS staff. He is of course in regular communication with the BHS Medical Department also, as we all gear up planning for a safe return in September. Watch this space…
