Online Community Platform

The school has been preparing its worldwide community database system recently. The system and platform comes with many opportunities for BHS to benefit from, including communications, events management and fundraising. We were happy to run our first online event registration with the book sale last month and soon the school will be communicating the BHS Times newsletter from this platform too. We expect the majority of recipients of the newsletter may not really notice much change at all as the design is going to be almost identical. The major difference will be that recipients (parents, staff and Times subscribers) will be able to login to the database from the e-newsletter and update their account details if they wish, with unsubscribe options also available. Also on the database system are all the school’s Old Scholars as well as other community members and friends of the school worldwide, who can also be expected to be communicated with from time to time.
