Boarders’ Hike to Mar Chaaya

The Boarding Community took the opportunity to go on a hike on Thursday afternoon, 29 October to Mar Chaaya, as school was closed for the Prophet’s Birthday public holiday. They started from the beginning of the driveway leading up to the main area. Rather than taking the traditional road up to the Mar Chaaya church, the boarders went across country, along the rugged pathways all the way up to the top. It was great for them to be together in nature, with all the Lebanese natural flora and fauna in that area, and seeing spectacular views of the coastline from the very top. Layal, Analuz and Tyrese were pretty exhausted by the end and returned with Head of Boarding Rabih Aouad to Edinburgh Boarding House for dinner. They are looking forward to future upcoming hikes and other activities!
