Curriculum Committee Meeting

In the afternoon of Wednesday 18 May, I attended the Curriculum Committee meeting chaired by the Vice Principal Academic. There was some excellent, open and frank discussion about the nature of reports and particularly the system of grading which needs to be looked at further and refined and about projects for development for 2022-2023.  I enjoyed this meeting very much. It was good to hear the views of Heads of Department and Subject Coordinators on a number of issues. It was particularly encouraging to hear  numbers of staff with responsibilities sharing their views on a range of issues. This is how the committee can best advise the Vice Principal Academic and me on academic and curricular decision making which will be beneficial to the students and to the school in future.
