English classes have now kicked off for adult learners within the BHS teaching and general staff community. These have been established to refine and develop attendees’ English language skills. There are two classes: the first, a Conversation Class which is being led by Lisette El Hage, Head of English; and the second, a Written Class, which is being led by Principal David Gray, the latter designed to help staff express themselves more accurately through emails and on report cards for example. The first lessons have been thoroughly enjoyable with enthusiastic participants. Classes will run for seven weeks and for staff who have signed up for both conversation and written classes that means four classes per week for the next seven weeks which is quite an intensive undertaking.
