Monday, 11 April saw a very memorable and worthwhile event take place on campus. The Manasseh Family has been almost synonymous with the school since its earliest days nearly 150 years ago and in recognition of the family’s close ties and tremendous support of BHS one of the oldest building’s on campus has now been renamed ‘Manasseh House’. In a lovely ceremony at the bottom of campus, and with the family represented by Trustee Tony Manasseh and Convenor of the Friends of BHS Group Sarah Barrett (themselves cousins), Principal Gray introduced the event, then leaving the floor for Tony to share some great anecdotes on the family’s history at school. The new plaque was then unveiled and cake and drinks enjoyed by the 20 attendees. Thank you to the Manasseh family for all they have done and all they continue to do for Brummana High School.
