BHS Upper School staff have been hard at work getting to understand the Microsoft Office 365 Teams platform this week. In the words of Microsoft, Teams is the hub for team collaboration in Office 365 that integrates the people, content and tools a team needs to be more engaged and effective. In a school setting, this means that, now teachers have been successfully introduced to Teams through a worthwhile training programme Wednesday and Thursday, March 11th and 12th, they can host online class sessions for students to support them in their learning, and what they would otherwise be missing due to the current Coronavirus situation in the country and globally. All subjects can be taught through Teams with all kinds of class material, including videos and PowerPoints for example, shareable.

Six Upper School groups were coordinated by Head of PD and Appraisal, Ms Hoda Wallace, with the six group leaders facilitating sessions and guiding around 10 teachers per group through the Teams platform. Thank you to Ms Wallace and all of the group leaders in particular, as well as all teachers for being so committed to learning in order to be able to continue to provide learning capabilities to their students.
