Weekly Drama Quizzes

The BHS Drama Department have been busy during lockdown, providing students with a range of worthwhile Drama activities. An extra initiative launched by Head of Drama Ms Lama and supported by Ms Bissan was the posting of a drama quiz each week on social media (Instagram and Facebook Stories). It was a way to engage with drama students but also the much wider community on several interesting, engaging and fun topics, raising awareness of the subject and raising knowledge at the same time. For the last six weeks, a different drama topic has been tackled and a quiz posted every Thursday lunchtime. The quizzes have been particularly popular with over 300 or 400 followers answering the questions each week. The quizzes have also been posted on the BHS Major Productions Instagram account.

The topics have been:

• Netflix – ‘Flix your muscles’
• Theatre – ‘Theatrivia’
• BHS Drama/Theatre
• Friends – ‘So no one told you life was gonna be this way…’
• Musicals – ‘Is the Phantom of the Opera inside your mind?’
• Disney – ‘It’s a small world after all’
